This is just a picture I took a few days ago. It’s the Bradford Pear tree outside my window. Man it is kinda stinky hehe but it sure is beautiful.

Here’s a flying geese block.

And here’s another piece for the Quilts of Valour for the military people who come home injured, they get a quilt. This is one of the pieces I made, then the group meets on the 2nd Saturday of every month to put them together.

And also my class I’m taking…

I’ve been using this almost every time since I got them in my class kit. heheh It’s my fav set.

Yeah, I know, the numbers say 82 but when we had her birthday party she was still 82. Us Ladies know the tricks on this age stuff right? hehe

Class 2 only had one cake and that was the final cake. I’ll post pictures of those soon as I get the pics from my Dad. My camera went pffft is why I haven’t been blogging much, don’t have any pictures to post.

Sorry I haven’t updated the blog much lately. Been busy as can be! Taking cake decorating classes, quilting classes, working on costumes for a play at church, all sorts of things! I have tons of stuff to blog just haven’t had the time to get it taken care of. You’ll see some soon!

My friends from church Kris and Leane have entered a video contest in hopes that they get to meet Brad Paisley. Some other friends of theirs are in the video as well including my son’s future wife Addison. Oh yeah, he’s going to marry a rock star! I am SO going to be a stage Mother In Law. hehe

In the beginning, there was cake.

Started with 4 layers out of 8×3 Wilton pans. Put vanilla pudding in between each layer of a confetti cake.

Here’s after it was iced and came home after the class at Hobby Lobby. I opened the door and showed it to my kiddo and he immediately stuck his tongue out and took a huge lick out of the icing on the front of it. hehehe! Too funny!

Here’s the spatula and yes he stuck the entire thing in his mouth.
He loves sugar as much as his Grams! hehe
He has no idea that I switched after a few bites to pudding.
He said even better Mommy! hehe

Finally we get to have a piece of the cake. I loved the confetti cake with vanilla pudding, however the frosting was too sweet for me but it almost always is. hehe My son loooooooved it!
